Carriage House Gardens and Maine's Mid-Coast  

While the shop in the Carriage House is now permanently closed, visitors are welcome to enter the gardens and enjoy the collection of plants and garden art. The resident gardener is frequently working in the garden and enjoys talking about plants, garden design, local sites, and places to visit!

Visiting Wiscasset and Carriage House Gardens.

Driving from points south: I-295 to Maine Exit 28; Route 1, Brunswick.  Follow Route 1 to Wiscasset.  Turn left onto Pleasant St. from Route 1, just after the Common.

Driving from points north: Route 1 to Wiscasset.  Cross the Sheepscot River bridge and through the Village; turn right onto Pleasant St., one block beyond the Nickels-Sortwell House.
